Sports pharmacy education is only provided at certain institutions in Turkey. To participate in these courses, it is necessary to have graduated from a Faculty of Pharmacy. The education lasts about 1 month and is provided by expert faculty members in the field. The content of the education includes anatomy, muscle physiology, sports genetics, rational drug use in sports pharmacy, biochemistry, nutrition/supplements, doping, medical exercise for elite athletes, sports kinetics, sports pharmacy, orthotic massage in athletes, sports psychology, stress/sleep/pain, and infections relevant to sports pharmacy.
